    I highly doubt that.
What if Mosley get's a gift decision and doesn't look great against berto?

And when the fight takes place... everyone will say Mosley was way past his prime and all that. Floyd will NEVER get any credit for any victory by fans, it's just how it works. If he fought Williams and beat him, people will say, he only fought him when he saw he could be outboxed, even lesser fighters have done it! If he fights Manny, o manny another little man, whom floyd could exploit his style. If he fights Berto, if he beats mosley, Berto was too green, or something. It doesn't matter what he will do. Look at all these responses, people are already making up a reason why floyd would take the fight, or why he would win. It's always a lose lose situation for me, regardless of what he does, simply because people do not like his personality and how he carries himself.

We all wanted to see him fight the mosley who just stopped margarito, but he instead came back against marquez. When shane called him on it, he gave 3 different excuses not to fight him. he won't get the respect he would have, had he fought mosley in July instead of Marquez.

So if this is at all true, which I highly doubt then Floyd...

dodges a fight with Pacquiao because of unfounded PED accusations,

to fight a guy with a true drug history.

Don't get me wrong, I'll be thrilled and 1st in line to buy the fight, but it really just tears up any argument he had about why he didn't fight Pacquiao.

    Is EVERYONE looking past Berto?

This is getting ridiculous. Shane has a very tough fight against Berto, and victory is in no way a guarantee. A Floyd-Berto fight is highly possible

honestly i think people are. personally i see this as a chance for mosley to set up the fight. i think berto will make it ugly at times but will get knocked out. i know styles make fights but mosley has a relative similar style to berto and mosley DESTROYED collazo, while berto struggled mightily. that aside, andre looked like **** even in winning every round against urango. how you win 12 out of 12 and still look bad i don't know but he did. it's easy to look past him

Mosley also gave excuses as to why he didn't want to fight Floyd when fights were more than able to be made in the past. Floyd's reasons for not wanting to fight Mosley has to do with his ego. Back when Floyd wanted to fight, Mosley had other plans. Floyd's ego is huge, he looks at that as if Mosley turned him up and now when Mosley wants the money and such he wants the fight. The only reason why Floyd is taking it now is because the Pac fight fell through and he has nowhere else to go. He is a bit of a hypocrite. But Mosley will fight him regardless, as he doesn't have the ego like Floyd.

Marquez was a tune up... he wasn't going to come back and just fight Mosley, especially with his ego and how he thinks about Mosley brushing him off on 2 occasions, not because mosley was scared, just simply he had other plans, like back when he was a LW -- why fight Floyd when you can move up and fight a prime Oscar for millions? The tooth ache problem was funny, but I am sure he did want some rest.

Shane beat the crap out of Margo, but the victory never fooled me. He will not be able to hit Floyd at will. People have gone crazy with the Margo victory and they have hyped it up. It will be good to see what Mosley can do against a more dynamic fighter in Berto.

Yes I have no idea why people are SOOO overlooking Berto. The kid is a dynamic fighter, although his inside defense is terrible -- he had BETTER fix that if he getting in a fight with Shane. Other than that, he is dynamic, the Margo victory does not fool me, nor does Beto struggle with a 100% collazo (if that is spelled correct).

Berto has a beautiful uppercut, Shane has been weak for those at points in his career, it was the Punch that almost had him KO'd against Forrest. But Berto's chin is not iron, it is average at best -- Shane, if he can land those loading right hands and leaping left hooks, he will destroy the guys chin. Berto can get hit a lot, he has to D up and fight smart. Mosley breaks Great Chins.

It's a good point. Whenever fights seem to be 1 win away from happening (Jones over Danny Green, for example) something always seems to get in the way. Maybe Berto can crash the GBP party.

You also left out the FACT that he lost to Margorito...giving Margorito the title as the " the best WW" then Margrito later got exposed and knocked the **** out...Giving Mosley the label...So how does that still make Cotto the best guy when he lost the title to Margorito? If anything...Shane is still the top guy...Thats a fact!
