No I wouldn't be because I don't earnestly look for reasons as to why a fight that has been agreed between two fighters can't happen.

If there is a slight delay, I don't jump the gun and assume the fight is off. I'm a very flexible poster and will not hestitate to change my opinion and give credit when credit is due regardless if I like a fighter or not. That's how you develop an objective point of view.

The threads last week were ridiculous with many fools coming up with a myriads of rumors and speculation and many concluded these as facts. I told everyone they'd look like gimps when the fight is announced.

That's all we've heard from MR goons.

The only criticism you can justifiably level at this fight, is the timing of the announcement which coincides with tonights bill.

Other than that you're just clutching at straws and being an ungrateful hater. This mega fight is taking place in december, not next year or two years which is how long we'd have had to wait if Fury didn't decide to step up and salvage Britain's reputation. The robot was talking about waiting until 2020 to fight Wilder and only last week was he bragging that he would most likely not have to fight him.

And of course we have Rob Mccraken talking about how a unification fight doesn't define the robot's legacy. In other words they feel they can keep up fighting old corpses for the rest of his career without taking on anyone in their prime.

 

The timing of the announcement is fair game. Hearn is putting on shows the same time Warren puts on anything decent. It's a filthy tactic and a retaliation of sorts was expected.

I'd rather neither tried to steal the others thunder. Only boxing loses. Though I believe Hearn started that crap.
