    No way in hell will I pay 70$... I will either watch it with 7 friends and pay 10$ or go watch it on the big screen at the theatre and pay 20$!

    I went to see how the Victor Ortiz vs. Floyd Mayweather Jr. fight was doing at the box office. I visited some web sites that were selling the tickets and I was not surprised that there were plenty of tickets available. There is little interest in the fight.


    Floyd Mayweather Jr. (FMJ) claims that he chose not to fight Amir Khan because Khan is not a Pay-Per-View attraction. Of course it’s another BS excuse to avoid fighting a legitimate opponent. If FMJ’s contention about the PPV was true, then he would not be fighting Victor Ortiz. When did Ortiz all of a sudden become a PPV attraction?

    FMJ is now saying to not blame him if the fight between himself and Ortiz does not sell well. He is saying that HBO is doing a bad job at hyping . . . err . . promoting the fight by focusing too much on Victor’s past life struggles.

    this is a pretty expensive fight the theather prices in pa is 18 dollars. i cant image what it would be in the big citys.

    With the Morales-Mathyse fight on the undercard, the PPV sales should do fine.

    There's more reason for Arum to be worried for the sales of Pac-Marquez.
    Apparently Fox will televise a huge free UFC event featuring Heavyweight champ Cain Velazquez and Dos Santos.
    That undoubtedly will cut down on a significant chunk of the Pac-Marquez PPV event.

    I made a thread about this will bump after the Mayweather fight :rofl.
    Still not sure yet what the plans are and what time slot they are using. They might be just showing 1 fight too maybe 2 a lot of details still to be ironed out.
    But the big problem is the combat media is going to be focused on MMA more than the Pac Marquez fight.
