It's possible Mayweather-Ortiz PPV sales will not do good

I am seeing it in a Muvico Theatre ... heres the link.

Muvico is a high end theatre with full bar service and restaurant ... as well as extremely comfortable theaters with love seats and state of the art visual and sound.

The tickets are only 25$ each ... that includes 1 free drink (alcohol) and popcorn. The theatre like I said has love seats and a HD screen.


This theatre is only about 20 mins from Oxnard, where Ortiz is training... the theatre is less than 20% sold right now.

 

Anything over a million buys is a success. ortiz is popular coming off his win over Berto which will help the numbers a little.....he's also an American fighter like Floyd which will also help in passing the million mark.

 

i say between 1.1-1.4 mill.

I was thinking the same....right around 1.3 mill given It's a mayweather fight. But if the rumors have any validity I'd say 1.1 million buys might be more realistic which is still great for any ppv event.

Lol it will do more than Pac Marquez.. easy. It will do at least a cool mill. Which is expected. Ortiz is only getting 2.5 and Floyd 30. The only people that dont release official ppv numbers are top skank.

 

JMM vs Pac will definitely do similar numbers to his Margarito fight. 1.3 mill for Tony vs Pac was a crazy surprise. JMM is by far an easier sell even though in reality Tony was a "bigger" challenge in every sense of the word than Juan is for Pac in. 2011. And don't be nieve......if Top Rank are putting out inflated numbers then so are all the other players homie. Golden Girl Promotions included ..... Who happen to sign Floyd's checks.

 

IMO, both floyd/ortiz and manny/jmm will do over 1+ mill ppv buys

 

:rofl HBO releases the Mayweather fight numbers. Bob Arum releases top skank numbers. Floyd will outsell Pac. There is no buzz at ****ing all for that fight. Nobody is even talking about it and everybody wants there money back for Pac/Clottey and Pac/Mosley... Your boy is running out of ppv scams.

 

Lol.. why are you all upset cupcake? Relax....if you think Floyd vs Ortiz will out sell Pac vs JMM 2 in PPV buys more power to you... But why let your confidence be left unfulfilled? I got a grip I've been trying to move for a couple months now. I'm willing to bet you a G-stack that Pac vs JMM 3 does slightly better PPV numbers than Floyd vs Ortiz... We can set up a neutral paypal account where we can hold the pot until the numbers are released. And let's not try to count how many fights Floyd has left fans looking for refunds. Lol.....there's a reason why Manny is considered exciting and Floyd's considered boring.

Right! Thx..... Which means it should do right around 1.2 mill which will be right around what Floyd vs Ortiz. I'm saying around 1.1 mill....maybe 1.2 which wouldn't surprise me. Floyd fighting ever year to year and a half makes his fights more exclusive. Floyd does some really great business savvy things....he also makes some incredibly stupid things business wise. No one can't say it hasn't made him stupid rich so he's a smart guy....he's just an ass.
