It's Pretty Clear Now - Kovalev Just Doesn't Have the Greatest Punch Resistance

Kovalev didn't fight angry though. He said he was angry, he said he was gonna kick dudes ass but he got in there and held back, he had in his mind that he didn't want to tire so instead of throwing with authority he convinced himself he needed to pace himself. WRONG STRATEGY Ward was throwing the punching power by far.

I don't know what kind of moron would think that this should have been a DQ. Should Kov have been dqed when he started throwing rabbit punches. Ward did return them but Kov definitely started them. Prichard Colon is in a coma becuase of rabbit punches. The ref did miss a borderline low blow, but if Ward should have been DQed for that, GGG should have DEFINITELY been DQ for the right hook he landed on Lemieux after he was clearly on the floor, Danny Garcia should be DQ'd in like all of his fights because his low blows are far more clear.

The only reason you're so empathetic for Kovalev is because you rooted for him to win, most likely he had him winning the 1st too. If the roles were reversed you wouldn't say a ****ing word and you know it.

I was so proud of Ward. I was sure they were gonna rob him, but after about the 5th I seen Kovalev's face swell up and I kept saying Ward could really stop this guy. And just round after round it happened it was exhilarating to see that unfold!!

 

Man up and face the fact that Ward ko'd Kovalev with 3 consecutive low blows.

 

I thought it would go UD didn't see the stoppage happening, but thought if he was going to stop him it would be later in the fight when Kovalev gassed. That right hand really did hurt Kov BAD.

I wanted the best man to win.

I felt Kovalev didn't want to be in the fight anymore, Weeks picked up on the queue and gave Kovalev what he wanted.

 

Man up and face the fact that Kov got stunned badly by a right hand, was not throwing back and was against the ropes, and Ward landed 3 body shots that stopped him, some of them being borderline. Man up to the fact that you picked Kovalev wanted him to win and he got stopped. Man up and stop ****ing crying because your guy quit.

yeah I think around that round I mentioned is when he realized hes losing (even though the commentators were trying to say Kovalev is winning lol).

If you rewatch you will see he kind of mean mugs Ward and tries to rush into him and Ward pops a good jab on him nice and precise

 

I wouldn't say he has a weak chin, it was an accumulation of punishment and fatigue.

 

I already pointed out that Kovalev was stunned and the fight was heading to a TKO win by Ward. Borderline does not justify low blows that are clearly below the belt. The only one refusing to face facts here is you. I'm sure you'll realize that in the morning when you sober up.
