It's pretty sad that Clinton Woods is held in such high regard

i don't know too much about Woods. Other than the loss he had with Jones i haven't seen any of his fights so i don't know if he got better with time. But all i know is that i HATE Tarver and i really hope Woods KO's that little *****

Dawson is pretty close. He doesn't have quite the speed, but he is quick and a better boxer than RJJ.

Woods has gotten so much better from when he fought RJJ. You have to give him credit for going back in the gym and working on his weaknesses. Becoming a champ after a bad loss is nothing to be ashamed of. He deserves the credit he gets.

The strange thing is the LHW division now probably is stronger now than it was when Roy was dominating it.

    Probably so.

You can't compare the Woods of today to that which got in with RJJ six years ago.

sure the guy's a solid fighter, but he also couldn't get a decision over glen johnson in two fights on his home turf winning only 1 sd in 3 tries

Have you even seen him since the Jones loss? He has improved.

    Clinton Woods.
Since his lose to Roy Jones, he has had several fights.
Amoung those are 3 fights with Glen Johnson who knocked out Jones.
With Johson he had a draw, one lose, and a win.
He has also had several other fights (all convincing wins).
He has won the IBF Lt.heavyweight title and defended it 4 times.
    Thats not too shabby.
If you think its sad that he is held in high regard, then why doesnt somebody beat him.
Obviously you do not know -- "**** from shinola".
