What does this say about Kotelnik or his chin for that matter if he took Maidana's right hands for 12 rounds and actually got a points win......never say never, but i'm pretty safe to say ole' Amir won't be knocking out Kotelnik.......if anything Kotelnik's confidence and stock probably went up after the maidana-ortiz fight.....

Anybody change their opinion of Kotelnik-Khan now?

    Your thoughts.....

You said it. How or why would Kotelnik get credit for another fighter quitting?

but if anything it showed how tough kotelnik is......the big question i'm curious about is if kotelnik can handle speed....we know he can handle power becasue of the maidana fight....you must say though his chin is pretty soild....

Tougher and more durable than Victor Ortiz, sure. That works.

I think Kotelniks stock did go up. Having a victory over Maidana on your resume is all the more impressive now.

Yeah Kotelnik's stock did rise but not much since he didn't really dominated Maidana...

Like Donaire's stock rises everytime Darchinyan wins but the impact become lesser and lesser as time goes by...

link --> Donaire's stock rises everytime Darchinyan wins

    ;)

Does this mean Cotto stock rise big time since Mosley ko Margarito? The same Mosley that Cotto beat?

Khan's stock will skyrocket if he is able to knockout Kotelnik. That said, I would tend to lean toward Kotelnik if it becomes a war of attrition. Khan's best chance is an early to mid round onslaught.

    I think so,too.

Besides Kotelnik is the only fighter who has gone the full route with Maidana and hasnt been knocked out or knocked down.

Amir Khan for sure cant hold a candle to Maidana in terms of firepower.Whoever claims that he will knock Kotelnik out must get his head tested!
He may win a wide point decision, but I for one very much doubt it!
Since Khan vs Kotelnik takes place on British soil you never know how the outcome will be.
Kotelnik has not the best experiences with his fights on British soil.
He deserved a point victory over Witter and was robbed big time against Mbaye.
