It's SO obvious the two judges were paid off in the Funeka/Guzman fight.

And what about Ward's personal referee?

Two judges scoring Funeka and one a draw would have been a bit ridiculous. Two judges nobody knows both from Canada actually scoring it a draw? What are the chances of both being as incompetant as each other? Highly suspicious.

Jesus Christ you idiot, let it go! The Ward fight has absolutely nothing to do with this thread. Either follow along or get the **** out.

It's not about Guzman being Canadian, it's about Goldenboy. Guzmans new contract. One or more judges giving the fight to Guzman would have been far too unrealistic so I suppose that their thinking was that making the fight a draw doesn't make it look as much of an obvious fix. Make it a draw so that Guzman isn't completley finished and they can fight again. How rare are draws in fights that aren't genuinely even?

GBP got a good card there but they ruined it themselves with this robbery.

Let's see if GBP will allow Guzrun to have a rematch with Funeka.

Canadians love to go to the Dominican, Punto Cana and Puerto Plata..Its cheap and much safer than Mexico. Therein lies the affinity for Guzman

    It's not a robbery...here's why

Guzman won the first 2 rounds easily. The 3rd round was questionable but close...could have possibly gone to Guzman. 4th round was easily for Funeka. 5th round was scored for Guzman. Rounds 6-10 were landslide rounds for Funeka...but still only 10-9 rounds. The last 2 rounds could have been scored for Guzman because he did much better than the previous 5 rounds and could have swayed the judges to score them for Guzman.

This equals 114-114 folks. a draw

Because you have to score the fight on a round by round basis, it could have easily been scored a draw.

Rounds 6-10 were so one sided and dominated by Funeka, it appears to be a robbery.

Yes...this is why i prefer to watch the heavyweights because of fights like this. Heavyweights usually keep the judges out of the equation.

I though it was much closer than Harold had it, but Guzman lost, still, I noticed that the head butt changed the fight a lot. I hate head butts. I had my nose broken with one!
