It's good Nicky had a lot of respect for Evander, he was all defense that night, not wanting to hurt another ATG.

SNV was really the faded one. Evander was a very late bloomer. SNV was of course trying to take it easy on the outclassed Holyfield, and with grazing punches that he was pulling he still knocked Evander down six times. But, thanks to the awful American and UK media, a lot of you ESBers did not get to see it. They edited the footage. :-( The amount of heart Evander showed in getting up time and again would have made you yanks proud. He would not surrender. At one point SNV's patented overhand bear hook just barely clipped the point on Evander's skull and he slid right across the ring. Round ten it was. Fourth KD of the fight. Valuev winced, knowing he had accidentally hurt Evander YET AGAIN. The referee was just about to wave it off when Evander stood up and raised his fists and said "Let's keep going, big man!" and the ref didn't have the heart to stop it. He was too overwhelmed by the moment. Like the ref in Rocky four. Actually, Evander had his double-decker mouthpiece in, so it sounded more like "Lesh eep owin', hig-hand!" but the ref knew what he meant. ...Inspiring.

my sincerest and most heartfelt apologies. I was off on a pilgrimage to the birthplace of SNV, and i have only just returned. I must admit, I am slightly changed. Colors are brighter, birds sing louder, pretzels are saltier and women are hotter. Although, I too could not get in due to the enormous crowds who flock to such a grand point in time and space, I was changed nonetheless.

I hear Sugar hardly ever punches at more than 30%. I believe he's been quoted saying he'd make an exception for Vitali.

 

I believe he said he would up it to 30.25%. That would be enough to KO Vitali into a coma.

SNV made a vow to his mother that he would never throw another 31% shot after he got in those two bar fights in Hiroshima and Nagasaki back in 1945.

 

Now I'm not implying that Sugar would ever lie, but he went damn near 50% on a polar bear during a hunting expedition in Novaya Zemlya in 1961.

 

If this were true then the earth would no longer exist. It is theorised that 50% from SNV would KO God.
