It's time Andre Ward was stopped being referred to as a fighter

ward hasn't fought in two years. It doesn't really matter who's fault that is he still should have a tuneup. If he came back vs a top guy and lost everyone would say he should have had a tuneup.

Everyone else can get a tune up but Ward

 

Ward is retired. Why talk about him?

 

Its safe to say Ward has completely turned off a lot of people .

Including me .

Look for people start rooting against him in his next fight .

 

Mayweather took a year off. Pacquiao took a year off. Leonard took three years off and came back as good as ever. Ali took 3 1/2 years off. Ray Robinson took two years off.

 

He does deserve a tuneup I thought it would be someone at least in the top 20 but what you guna do. At least he is fighting. I'm hoping he fights again this year hopefully against someone in the top 15 and then after that someone who can add value to his resume.

 

I will reserve judgement until after this fight ..I don't mind that he takes an easy fight his first fight back as long as he goes on to make big fights down the road .

 

Will be very interested to see how he makes weight.
