Who's coming after Berto? Clottey, Margo, and Williams all have belts. Therefore, they can't force a fight with Berto. Cotto is going to need some time to recover. Even if he does recover, Arum claims he doesn't want to work with Al Haymon(Berto's manager). The rest of the guys at Welter would all lose to Berto. Unless Floyd comes out of retirement and decided he wants his belt back, Berto has nothing to worry about. His handlers can take their time with him.

Malignaggi isn't that good of a fighter. It's no surprise that DiBella would be willing to take a chance with him. Berto is a different story.

Guys like Collazo didn't want to fight Berto before. He has a belt now, so that gives him value. You'll see Berto in there with those type of guys very shortly.

Why is everyone mad at Berto, be mad at the organization who make the rankings for these belts. He just to advantage of a chance after Floyd retired. Berto will be the truth

Why should Berto fight any of those guys right now?Your hero floyd never faced any of those guys while he was at 147.It's okay for Floyd but not for Berto?

we're not asking him to face any of those guys. only selfish, ******ed fans re asking for such bouts. i think he's almost ready to get in there with the elite. one more year of beating a few more quality opponents and continuing to craft his skills, he'll be ready

i think people on here have a group of fighters that they just dont like and/or just dont want to see go anywhere its too bad cause a guy like berto has all the tools and he got this belt a little early but i think he will do just fine i would like to see forbes then clottey then a fight with williams/margarita he def needs to step up now just not to fast and if he has a fight where he is just ok he needs to get a confidence builder in between

he's in a tough position because he has the belt that pbf has, so he's automatically gonna cathc heat. hope he doesnt let all the heat force him to take a fight he'll regret
