PBF doesnt have to take this fight or any other for that matter. If he retires you have to respect what he's done. There are always those people who are gonna say he should have fought this guy or that guy but he cant fight everybody. He's accomplished enough already to be considered one of the greats of all time. By the way, if he did fight Cotto he'd take him to school just like he does with every fighter he faces. He's leagues above anyone in any division. PFP best baby - it means something. Haters have to respect him, c'mon.

cotto is a bigger version of ricky hatton. dude is a bulldog. it will be the same type of fight but pbf will be forced to absorb harder and faster punches. this will be overwhelming to pbf.

Dude have you seen any of pbf fights?!!!! lol.....IF he fights cotto he wouldnt be on the inside(because he is bigger and stronger). He just stayed on the inside in this fight to beat hatton at his own game and prove he can fight in the trenches(plus ricky isnt bigger than him). Shoulder rolls and elbows is all that miguel will get. Miguel IS my fav fighter, but mayweather is the BEST right now. Unbeatable.............

Cotto will bust up Mayweather early in the fight taht way Mayweather doesn't have anything if he is still standing going down the stretch. And believe me, Cotto will get to him frequently in a fight.

I expect Mayweather to retire and Cotto to fight Hoya in May the 3rd. In case it somehow happens, I would bet the house on Mayweather WUD12 Cotto.

i already respect Mayweather big time!!!

but if you should fight cotto...................man ooooh man!!
I think he wins, not easy, but he wins (UD). Cotto would be great at mayweather's resume

With the last fights of the two,
Cotto showing a weak chin, and with Floyd's performance last night,
no doubt Mayweather will be coming too fast for Cotto.

I see an early KO lose for Cotto even far more early than Ricky.

No doubt in my mind that Mayweather wins the fight.

no way he (pbf) wins it easily. cotto is being very under-rated here, he can box as well as brawl. he will adapt to mayweathers style and do what he has to do to win. hatton showed that constant pressure is efective, and if thats the case, cotto will figure it out, but he hits much much harder than hatton and cotto gets stronger in the later rounds, not weaker! mark my words, he will find and land on PBF!

Of course. It's time for Mayweather and Arum to put aside their differences, and HBO to really push for the fight.
