Bowe got his ass kicked twice by Golota, how do you think Golota would've done against either Klitschko? He'd have **** himself like he did against Lewis.

Ike had what, 2 good fights? Against Byrd & Tua, big deal. Stop living in a fantasy world where your fighter earns all sorts of respect for very little & real fighters like the Klitschkos beat every top contender & get zero credit for it.

Moorer? With that chin? :rofl

Foreman was outboxed and embarassed against Tommy Morrison & Axel Schultz. A lucky punch would be his only chance.............

Buster Douglas would see what a real ATG Heavyweight jab looks like if he dared enter the ring against Wladimir.

Lewis planned on retirment after the Tyson fight, wanted to give Canada a fairwell bout with Kirk Johnson, when Johnson got injured he decided to make his mandotory and retired after the win, he was already planning retirement Klitschko should be grateful that he was given the opportunity not only to fight Lewis but to also continue fighting after getting that gash early on, Klitschko had every opportunity to beat Vitali and didnt pull it off that is not the fault of Lewis

Who are these B-level 90's fighters that're top level guys today?

Golata has been losing over and over again since his comeback, he just keeps getting shots because of his promoter (he just got KO'ed by a cruiserweight ffs), Tua beat some nobody which doesn't mean a damn thing, Bowe never came back, Ike never came back (is he even out of jail yet?), Briggs snatched up a title in the most boring fight ever (I was there for it), then lost it right away and we haven't heard a peep from him since. Oh, and don't forget that mummy Holyfield, who has he beaten lately?

So please, tell me, who are these 90's heavyweights you speak of?

one looks scared at times and is chinny and the other is limited and robotic
but they have been well managed and are always in top condition, thier opponents are not of a high level but that is not thier fault

They both are dominant and will dominate until better opposition arrives. Take nothing away from them, their talent and physical traits will give any heavy weight of any era a run for their money. I would find it hard to believe Ali or Tyson would just blast through any of the brothers. Ali and Tyson would win in that battle but it would not be so easy for them to.

I agree that they will probably get more credit after they retire. However, they should be recognized today for their amazing accomplishments. It is a shame the sporting and mainstream media has not given them more coverage. Inside and outside the ring the Klitschko brothers are the type of sporting heroes that should be celebrated as examples for youth to emulate, instead of the semi literate thugs that get more recognition.

They are respected. I mean, one of the larger and more loyal fanbases on this board is the Klitschko one, so they obviously are getting credit from a good amount, but not everybody is going to like them. Once they retire though, they'll be more universally respected.

No one looks more scared than their opponents and since most of their opponents get stopped, who's chinny?

For his size, Vitali looked very fluid and skilled vs. Arreola, not at all robotic. Wladimir is amazingly fluid and athletic.

Again, I agree. They are only the second set of brothers to both win the REAL heavyweight championship of the world. They are Dr.s and both speak 4 languages. Vitali is a helicopter pilot and Wladimir may be too.( I've only seen a picture of Vitali flying a helicopter) They are both gentlemen, though Vitali does have a mean streak come fight time.

wlad is chinny that is a fact he has developed a tight defence but he is scared if put under pressure which his recent opponents were not able to do due the the fact they were not of a high calibre.

vitali is robotic did you see his last fight :think

it is not the brothers fault that thier opponents are so poor but it will affect the way they are compared to past champions

    Exactly correct.

In fact, if the 1990s was such a good era, how is it that an ancient George Foreman could come back and win the title.

The George Foreman that beat Michael Moorer in 1994 and fought competitively against Evander Holyfied in 1992, also lost to Tommy Morrison and "lost" to Alex Schulz.

That George Foreman would lose decisively to either Klitscho brother today, just as Morrison, Moorer, Holyfield, and Schulz would lose to both brothers.

Vitali did look a bit more robotic vs. Johnson than he did against Peter, Gomez & Arreola but that's one fight. Maybe he's slipping a little or maybe Johnson is just that good defensively. One could argue that either way I'm sure.

Johnson def. had a good jab when he used it judging from the marking around VK's eyes. He still lost every round except maybe the 2nd. That's pretty good even if you don't get the KO.

You're only as good as your last fight? Maybe if it ws 2 or 3 in a row like that.

I didnt think that Lewis was married? Are you sure about that.

Ditto, good post, i pretty much agree with everything.

Agreed BUT their passport may make it different in their case. I think some Americans will be happy to just forget and pretend like they never existed. Call me crazy but i can see alot of people continuing to trash them.

Completely agree. Sad thing though is that some people seem to prefer a Tyson, Mayweather, Kimbo Slice to "look up to". Sad commentary on a society.
