Yeah he beat Martinez @ c/w but why the fuk he's allowed by the WBC to defend it against a welter and not a proper middleweight ?

    Thats stupid and outrageous!

    WBC middleweight ratings:

    CHAMPION:
    MIGUEL COTTO (P. RICO)

    INTERIM CHAMPION:
    GENNADY GOLOVKIN (KAZAKHSTAN)

    LAST DEFENSE:
LAST COMPULSORY: September 15, 2012 by Chavez
    WBA CHAMPION: Daniel Jacobs (US)
    IBF CHAMPION: Jermain Taylor (US)
    WBO CHAMPION: Andy Lee (Ireland)
    Contenders:
WBC SILVER CHAMPION:: Tureano Johnson (US)
WBC INT. CHAMPION: Jorge Sebastian Heiland (Argentina)

1 .- Martin Murray (GB) beaten by Gennady
2 .- David Lemieux (Canada) NABF
3 .- Jorge Sebastian Heiland (Argentina) INTL
    4 .- Billy Joe Saunders (GB) COMM/BBB C/EBU
    5 .- Tureano Johnson (US) SILVER/AMERICA
    6 .- Sergio Martinez (Argentina)
    7 .- Daniel Geale (Australia)
    8 .- Ryota Murata (Japan)
    9 .- Sergio Mora (US)
    10 .- Willie Monroe (US)
    11 .- Jonathan Gonzalez (P. Rico)
    12 .- Curtis Stevens (US)
    13 .- Arif Magomedov (Russia)

Cotto should fight one of this ranked guys if not GGG! Thats the right way !

Cotto should vacate his paper title or defend it against a WBC ranked middleweight.

Umm... because he beat the sh!t out of Martinez.

Yeah, Cotto had the b@lls to move up and KO him. This after everyone said his knock-out over Delvin Rodriguez was no indication that he had power.

After Cotto hammered Martinez, all the excuses came out, but not before the fight, everyone was saying how Martinez was going to do dominate Cotto. I see you're still butt-hurt about it.

He beat the champ so it's fair imo. I think he should be allowed one voluntary defence then he should have to fight a legit MW challenger or vacate.

GGG is no doubt the champion at 160. I coudn't care less about the belts or Ring's rating etc.

Catchweights and weak defenses is where the lineal title trips up. If you want to be the man at 160 you should face the top guys at 160.

    Cotto beat the lineal champ.

    Therefore, he is the champ.

This is not a new concept.

Here's why Cotto should just drop the title.

1 .- Martin Murray (GB) Beats Cotto
2 .- David Lemieux (Canada) Savagely KO's Cotto
3 .- Jorge Sebastian Heiland (Argentina) KO's Cotto
4 .- Billy Joe Saunders (GB) Boxing the brakes off Cotto
5 .- Tureano Johnson (US) Stops Cotto
6 .- Sergio Martinez (Argentina) Should Retire
7 .- Daniel Geale (Australia) Outpoints Cotto
8 .- Ryota Murata (Japan) Stops Cotto
9 .- Sergio Mora (US) Has draw with Cotto
10 .- Willie Monroe (US) Maybe out points Cotto
11 .- Jonathan Gonzalez (P. Rico) Cotto might beat him, Maybe
12 .- Curtis Stevens (US) KO's Cotto brutally
    13 .- Arif Magomedov (Russia) 50/50
14 .- Tony Jeter (US) FECARBOX Cotto may win
15 .- Caleb Truax (US) Cotto may win

Nothing unfair about it. If you beat the Linear champion then you are the Linear champion. That's how that **** works. We all know GGG is the best.
