He might not connect clean the whole fight. Sometimes fights have many connects but not that one clean punch which knocks a guy down or stuns him. Shane has fought everyone and put his all in boxing. After that there usually is not enough energy for that last great win. Hagler and Hearns fought until they had nothing left.. Even basketball players play too long and wear themselves out to the point where they are diminished. I saw Kobe Bryant the last week or two and he looks old and tired. I never thought I was see that, but I heard the commentators say he has been playing for 14 years and had near 180 playoff games. That will wear out anyone. And boxing is tougher than basketball.

I think Shane will be reduced to arm punching for for fear of counters by around the 5 round. I've seen something like that before. I'm pretty sure that the game plan calls for knocking Floyd out with some tricky stuff so maybe Shane has something up his sleeve.

I'd have to think that Floyd would have to connect, HARD, too (most likely over and over and over and over), at some point.

Watch for key uppercuts by Floyd ..Shane punches are too wide and wild. And why do people think Floyd can't take a punch....don't be fool by Mosely last fight.

Also it took him 9 rounds of a constant assault to whittle Margarito down. If Floyd has half of the ability to absorb punches, then he should be more than fine.

Yeah, he might land one or 2 hard ones, but, Mayweather has already shown that his chin holds up time and time again.

Margarito is IRON compared to Floyd, that was a VERY bad comparison.

The question i think is not wether mosley will connect, like the ts said, it's 12 rounds, he'll land something hard in there somewhere. But the question is, can mosley follow it up? People have hit floyd with hard punches before, but never with several big punches consecutively. De la Hoya landed a solid shot here and there, but if it's only one at a time, floyd can take it. Shane has to hope he can land combinations, and if he can't, which i think will be the case, he has to win the fight tactically and i don't think he has the patience to do that, he's too much of a fighter at heart. Floyd takes it ud12

Fans do not realize that Margarito did not train for the fight with Mosley. So you can't count on Mosely's win over Margarito.

He looked iron hard dropping two to Santos. Watching Margicheato over and over only leads me to wonder how he ever beat an elite fighter.

I grant you your point though. If any one has proven they are made to eat leather it is Margarito.

it's possible but don't count on it. floyd can take a good punch and i don't see him getting hit cleanly.
