Murray is a solid mw contender. He arguably beat Martinez and Sturm.

On neutral soil and fair judges Cotto, Quillin and Taylor lose against this guy.

I'd imagine a good percentage would pick Cotto and a slightly lesser percentage would pick Quillin. Obviously Murray would be a huge favorite over Taylor.

I think so too, but he will have his trouble with them due to his lack of power.

The Sturm fight was not even close to a robbery but I think he got jobbed against Maravilla.

Quillin beats that ass. Too fluid and skilled, murray will hit air all night. I also wonder about the timing of this post as if you watched last nights fight it was one of the crappiest performances Ive ever seen from murray, granted the guy he was facing was trying to make it as ugly as possible but he was lost at times. A performance like that doesnt shower me with confidence in his abilities at all.

    Sturm fight was close.
He did lost on points close to a hobbled Maravilla.
Murray is very overrated on this site Quillin would beat him, Cotto and Taylor would lose to him.

Please stop with the "robbed in Germany" bull****.
These were the reactions in IB's RBR, in wich the consensus was that Sturm won and got a anti-hometown decsion against hm.
Only Jim Watt (who else?) had it for Murray.
Guess this kinda sums things up.
Only Brit ever robbed against Sturm is Macklin

    People over-egg the Murray-Martinez fight.

Martinez had everything wrong with him in that fight outside of a strong case of Ebola and still nicked a decision
