It's weird how its become a foregone conclusion that Abraham would have won by KO

AA would have won by KO imho, Dirrell was out on his feet, the slipping was from exhaustion, unlucky AA.

This is what makes me think it would be extraordinarily unlikely for Abraham to score a knockout. Could it have happened? Sure. But given that Abraham would almost certainly have been pressing hard, and Dirrell using his superior movement, footwork and speed to avoid AA's rushes, the likelihood of a KO would have been very small. Particularly since, until the cheap shot landed, Abraham hadn't really hurt him all fight.

and abraham was also starting to walk into some shot as well and it had already been shown that dirrel had the power to hurt him.

I think AA was getting to him more and more, and would have, more than likely, ran him in corner again, and KOed Dirrell before the fight was over.

I'm thinking Dirrell is the one that had the best chance to come out with a KO, he had been missing by inches all night from landing a bomb and following it up with a flurry to finish things

Just hopefully they have a rematch and soon, to see what would really happen. If Dirrell gives him a boxing lesson, fine, if AA ko's him ok. Lets' just see it, and this time a referee who does not have very clear bias.

Before Abraham pulled that nasty ass move I was thinking, "Oh ****, Dirrell's falling into Abraham's range. He's gonna get knocked out." That's still my final impression before one of the nastiest moments I've witnessed happened.

Did Abe deserve disqualification? Hell ****en yeah.
Was Dirrell schooling him all night? Hell ****en yeah.
Did Abraham start the process leading to a possible ko. Yep.

Abraham can lose every round and knock someone the **** out in the last fifteen seconds of a fight.

It's OK to feel like Abraham would have possibly scored a KO, based on what he has done in the past... But be careful. Has Abraham ever been KD'd? His ass could have been the one stretched out if he wasn't careful.

I agree. I was suprised how well Dirrel was not only outboxing but taking it to him. In saying that, I felt before the illegal shot, it was only a matter of time before AA got him.

    :rofl:rofl:rofl

This is the funniest post I've seen about the fight so far.

Go watch the fight again dude. It was as if Dirrell tried a sliding tackle.

The only people making that forgone conclusion are Abraham leg humpers who think that the Super Six is just one giant conspiracy for the Americans.

We agree on this issue. The notion that an AA knockout was imminent is share fantasy.
