Tim, I never see the cross armed guard in boxing these days and I wonder why this often effective guard that you used so well is ignored so much. I understand it leaves you somewhat vulnerable to temple shots but every guard leaves you vulnerable somewhere. With the added benefit of it being a more viable guard for head movement, particularly the bob and weave, would you recommend it to your students today? Apologies for the long winded question, but I'd really like to pick your brain.
