    agreed.

To be hoenst what domestic shows would they pick up that Sky don't already they have Warren, Maloney, Hattons, Matchroom (Hennesey) and Hayemaker. Having all the promoters at sky means the shows are more stacked.

Froch seems to be the only thing left out but is Super Six fights were never shown by ITV anyway and I cannot remember the last time they PAID for a US fight.

honestly I don't see the obsession with terrestrial tv anymore, i think those days our done. Sky and Virgin have 25million subscribers now and most of them have the sports channel.

I think ITV would want to keep these profits coming.

Yep, Premier Sports I think. There was a petition on Facebook for them to get into boxing.

As long as audley harrison and danny williams stay away, it could come back.

I would love to see them get some big fights from America so alot more people would watch and help boxing get back into the mainstream but one can only hope for something like that to happen.

I doubt they give a **** about boxing, to be honest. There's just not enough financial incentive for them to put it back on TV. Would obviously be nice if they did.

not unless they get the shows for free.

from my info there is some anti-boxing lobby in charge at the ITV, who once worked for the BBC as well.

I'm sure we've exchanged views on that before. I'd be very surprised if nearly half the population have Sky or Virgin. Also, there is no way "most of them" take the sports package. It's why Sky constantly push it to existing subscribers.
