Great to see ITV bring back boxing after begin away too long -I can remember watching all the big fights in the 80's.. Which brings me to the classic "Big Fight Live" theme tune that everyone knows, which we can all download on youtube. Before that, there was another, faster paced tune - possibly written by Jeff Wayne (of War of the Worlds fame) who was composing a lot of ITV sport themes in the early 80's. You can hear the last two or so seconds of it at the beginning of a youtube clip of the fight between Pat Cowdell and the awesome Azumah Nelson... that lasted less than a round with a superb uppercut that lifted Cowdell off his feet! does anyone know either the name of the piece of music used or where I can find a link for the full version?
