What's bugging people off James is the fact that CEJ is not a world champion. He hasn't won a legitimate title and he hasn't beaten a credible world level opponent. Yet he's making people fork out money for his fights? It's disgraceful regardless of how decent the card is. He's the one headlining the shows afterall. Hearn and Warren are putting on competitive world title fights on non ppv sure with decent undercards.

Until CEJ does win an actual world title - if he ever does - then every ppv card he makes the fans fork out for will be met with justified distate. End of story.

Most of the cards I've seen this year are better than this

I've seen people claim they would buy the PPV if Selby was the main event?

Seems a silly reason to not buy it just because Jr is headlining?

We don't know how the money will be distributed, if people think they will just be lining Jr's pockets?

People claim undercards matter for PPV, but when it comes to Jr they suddenly don't?

Titles are meaningless in PPV, FFS Conor McGregor has never had bout let alone belt, and King Arthur is multi weight champ?

It doesn't really matter if you think Jr isn't proven when you consider Abraham is?

Didn't you have to Pay Sky around £36 pm to watch those fights on their sports channel or £7 on now TV?

The idea that any sky or boxnation fights aren't Ppv is a joke.

I think it's a pretty decent card. That doesn't justify it being PPV, neither does comparing it to other standard Sky cards. But objectively, it's decent.

If all the above were matchroom or queensbury fighters do you think the said promoters would put the card out on subscription or do you think hearn and wazza would do this as ppv also

Anyone with even a passing interest in boxing knows that this is only on PPV because of the Eubank name. Even the Eubanks themselves would admit as much if they were being honest. So why are you trying so hard to convince people it's actually justified because of the boxing?

Not sure there's much point anyone discussing Eubank with you because your starting point is so far away from pretty much everyone else on the board. It's like an evolutionary scientist and a fundamentalist Christian debating the big bang.

I'm not a Eubank Jr hater, far from it. I watch his snapchat most days and it's great to see his dedication and work ethic. Exactly what I want from a boxer and there's others who should take note.

I would love him to stop Abraham, make a statement and then go on to fight for the recognised world belts. Certainly against anyone who isn't British I'll be rooting for him all the way. Doesn't mean I'm anywhere near alright with this being a PPV. That's just by looking at the card and applying a bit of common sense. And, same as with the other PPVs I don't agree with, there's no chance of me paying for it.

Ok so let's divide 36 by all the live events on sky sports each month if you are doing it like that.
