Hearing very loud whispers out and about on the net from a legit source that ITV are likely to pick up delayed rights to the Froch v Dirrell fight. Seems like something thats been done in advance, but won't be announced till afterwards so as not to hinder PPV buys a'la Ukraine v England last week. I'm not saying this is for definite so don't kill me if I'm wrong, but keep your eyes peeled on Monday to see if anything official is happening.
This is pure and utter pish,it's like the sort of rumours that rob palmer would post.if it was on itv,we would have heard something by now.
Did you not read what I put? They won't want it announced beforehand in case it hinders the live PPV buys. Just like Ukraine v England last week, the deal will have been done long before kick off. Surely its not a coincidence we've got Rosenthal, Rawling and Kerr on? Not saying it'll defo happen in case I'm wrong But expect it to be shown in some form on itv.
yes it is ,remeber rawling used to setanta .so basically you have just started thread based on your assumptions :hi:
I hope it is true. ITV have covered him on the news. They are a disgrace for investing in him but not backing him when he finally got to the big time.
I think its highly likely they will show on delay. They've been mentioning it for weeks and they won't have to pay out for the production costs themselves entirely as PrimeTime already there as well as most of their usual commentary team. As long as it doesn't put off the Prime Time buyers and attendance then it makes 'cash common sense' (morning Bunce) to sell the rights on delay and publicise after the live show.
:roll:You never actually read my first post, did you. The thread was started on what I'd heard on the net. I'm aware they are all freelance journalists, but for three of itv's guys to turn up hosting Primetime's show is very convenient.
Like ESPN coming in to "save British Boxing" Sorry, but when you've got that as an avatar I have to go there:yep EDIT: But its not speculation here, its a legit source.
