Just received a press release from Hennessy Sports claiming ITV got 620K views for Darren Barkers fight on the weekend...

Considering they don't promote, advertise or even have it on their main channel, i'm impressed with these figures and think it goes to show that boxing is still mainstream in the UK.

If ITV or another free were getting such good viewings with boxing, why dont they push it more? Why dont we get more boxing on our telly?

Have tp say well done of getting the 625K though, it looks good for the scene if we can keep them numbers up!

Surprising figures considering the UK is hooked to xfactor and celebrity jungle at the moment .....

there's no turning back though, they've already made their mind up, boxing is getting cut.
