i quite like this ,its diffrent form the textbook apporach that was adopted by other channels oin the past .it is quite good to see this ...

i missed the begining of it,was anything mentioned about any potential coverage of the Super Six?

also it is ashmae to see them dropping the boxing as of the new year, granted tonight is not the best card ,but genrally they have been decent viewing is this still the case ,that they are def dropping it?

Henny said on the bunce boxing hour, that 3 networks were still in the offing, he's made a offer and he's waiting for the reply, he could've been bullshiting though.

Do you know that to be a fact?

At the start of this evening's show they said something like "welcome to a new season of boxing on ITV". To me this is not a statement a channel would state if they would be dropping boxing in less than 4 months.

No mention. They've got a Big Fight Review on next week and do tend to mention Froch.

I think their coverage is good, Andy Kerr was in the changing rooms asking daft questions - well done AK1, Gabriel Partridge was doing a piece on bricklaying with Glover, Rawling was unusually amusing with his comments on Ian John-Lewis spiel about 'Im the referee', and McGuigan is for me the most honest ex pro pundit out there.

Show good undercard fights prior to the main event, which I much prefer. The only thing missing is the old sub-Rocky music that they used to have

its been well known and publisized for a while now, surprised you didn't know, i guess they consider those remaining months a season.

I know there have been rumours and opinions but I tend to take them with a pinch of salt. Yes, it could be the shortest season ever, but it was a statement that neded be said if it was not true.

Not being funny, surely you have enough intelligence to realise that not everything that is printed in the Sun is 100% fact???

Maybe the old speculative articles you refer to are now irrelevant and should be revised based on potential new evidence such as a potential change in strategy by ITV???

It'd be good to think ITV will continue with boxing. Their approach makes for a good evening's entertainment rather than the headliner and highlights you get everywhere else.

I like the earlier 7.30 start time so that we can get a couple of live fights before the main event. The interviews and the pre-fight recorded pieces are excellent. Compare this to Sky, i.e. Friday Fight Night, we get the main event live and whatever else is recorded.

Rozenthal does my big scottish head right in, he always has to get his bit in like he has a clue what hes talking about:twisted:

& his bit is always talking up anything to do with Henneseys fighters. however its funny to see Barry mcGuigan slumming it after he jumped ship when Ricky Hatton left Sky:lol:
Now Rickys back at SKY & Barrys left out in the cold standing at ringside on a channel that no-one with a freeview box even knows exists!

    Oh the irony...
