ITV's coverage tonight - 12 rounds including adverts = 90 minutes

i went down stairs to tell my dad to tape channe 5 boxing tonight and decided to watch the last 3 rounds again

it took me 20 mins to watch 3 rounds with them adverts that Cantona advert went on for about an hour

 

And it sounded like the commentators already knew the result!

 

yh it was annoying but i kept telling myself atleast they're showing the fight and i was grateful for that....and on Frochs performance, it was good but not great, he is a good fighter and nothing more, he's too slow and has very bad habbits, but i will keep supporting him and wish him all the best

 

I couldn't wait and so downloaded it after footy today. 12th round had me shouting at me laptop! Cracking fight!

 

yep u cd definately tell that was the case and it kind of spoiled it a bit

 

That pissed me off. I have quite a few "old" fights in my collection and the ones with commentary put on afterwards are a PITA.

 

they probably did the crowd atmosphere sounded crap compared to the showwtime version

that horror film advert was proper scary

i was houting for Taylor to finish the fight it was great

 

Would've been far better with the original audio. Strange that it wasn't in widescreen either.

 

hate them ESPN classic ones that say stuff like

'Fighter A gets knocked down by a huge left hook in a minute' ggggrrrr

The show itself was good, brisk interviews, straight into the fight, thought the commentary was decent.

But ITV once again reminded me why I try my best never to tune in to anything they broadcast with the ridiculous adverts every six minutes. And many of the same adverts over and over again no less.

And people wonder why ITV is going down the pan.

 

The worst for me being Louis-Schmeling 1. "I've just noticed that Joe is dropping his left hand..." Steve Holdsworth I think it was.

 

After that thread with you, TFFP and Ishy putting yours up I'm in the process of putting them all onto hard disk. I should be done in a a couple of weeks and I'll put a list together.:good
