Iv given up hope of the GGG vs Jacobs fight being made

    this arcticle jacobs adviser says he wants the fight at the barcley center, was the fight to be ppv, wants 24/7 all access in the run up to the fight

    and to top it all off, he says if they money isn't there for the fight ,they won't fight ggg until it makes financial sense. These are the same people who said they wanted 5 million for a GGG fight before.

    this is complete nonsense, the b-side making crazy demands about venue, tv and ppv.

    il tell you what jacobs if you want 5 million get haymon to put in a 20 million dollar purse bid, since you think thats how much your worth and how much the fights worth

    If this fight doesn't happen then it works for GGG. Means he can get the all the belts like he wants.

    you would want to ask jacobs, the man is obviously deluded.

    i think he never had any intention of taken this fight, but for he's adviser to actually come out and list he's insane demands is just completely stupid.

    That's not what the WBA says. Hopefully they just split 5 million down the middle, fight at The Barclays because it's bigger than MSG and see who is the best between the 2. Golovkin is does not have money like that so why make a crazy demand? Jacobs is not exactly selling himself well either.

    These Haymon guys guys all believe they can have a ODLH vs Mayweather payday but couldn't sell water in a burning house.

    The only thing that should happen for sure is the All Access or 24/7 if HBO has the money. It will need hype.

    lets see Jacobs can't even sell out the barcley center against quillin, has no belts yet you believe he should get the fight on home soil and get 50% of the money even though he is clearly the b-side.

    ggg sells out arenas on he's own and has 3 belts. the 75-25 split is more than fair. ggg gets 3.75m, jacobs gets 1.25

    jacobs is demanding ppv etc he doesn't want the fight

    Funny that guy talks about this fight as an unufication or something
    We'll se if Danny wants it or if hes just like the rest of them , fearfull and just wants a payday
    Hope it gets made in december, could be a FOTY

    GGG sells out the east coast, too. Can't blame Jacobs' team for wanting this as big as possible since they're treating this as their cash-out fight.

    Unfortunately, PPV is also likely the only way this fight gets made. Given the budget, who knows if HBO puts up enough cash to have Al send Jacobs on over, and they sure as heck aren't letting GGG fight on PBC.

    Jacobs has been around long enough to know that nobody knows him outside of the hardcore. This is his chance to really sell himself.

    GGG to his credit raised fighters profiles because of his hype. Willie Monroe, Curtis Stevens and Gabe Rosado are celebrities now.

    actually it may be a smart move to let ggg fight on pbc. pbc in their braodcasts usually ignore the dominent fighters in the division that aren't with pbc

    wilder used to be called the heavyweight champion of the world and they would never mention wlad, pretty sure they kept ranting on about jacobs vs quillin being a fight for the world title and ignored mentioning ggg the whole show

    if haymon brings ggg over to pbc and leaves jacobs looking like road kill maybe the casual fans may wake up and realise their being fed nonsense. also it would give ggg great exposure, he would do serious numbers and for haymon with get him on pbc he would have to win purse bids which would mean ggg would pocket di guess 4 million plus

    According to the WBA rules it's 75% to the champion and 25% to the mandatory challenger(even if the mandatory is also champion).

    That's the default starting point. Any sway from that from either fighter is within the other fighters right to be denied. GGG doesn't have the privilege to ask for more than 75% and Jacobs doesn't have the privilege to ask for more than 25%. Let's leave this A-side nonsense out of it.
