I've been saying this for a while now. Let the casuals have ball.
Put Errol Spence jr as co main or if not Jermall vs J Rock.
It would benefit HBO & GGG, in obtaining more notoriety and maybe more PPV sales in the future.
PBC would get some good numbers and could showcase their best talent in a stacked card. If they'll leave their egos out of this everyone will win. If they want war, nobody will win.

But in this scenario dont expect Danny Jacobs or GGG for that matter to make big money. 1 mil Danny vs 3 mil GGG

Dont forget you want a real good card so PBC can profit from this on the long-term, a la UFC. So you gotta pay Spence jr and comp.

Let Mason Menard or Gervonta Davis open the card.

This could be THE boxing card of the year.

But its sad it dont work like that

Jesus... if that article is true, then no way the fight happens. He literally says "we'll fight GGG in a few fights".

He knows (or SHOULD know) that his guy is only entitled to 25% (those are the rules) so because the money won't be right, the fight doesn't happen. Golovkin won't be fighting Jacobs, Eubank or Saunders this year. We sure as hell know it won't be Canelo either.

I've given up now too after reading this. Hopefully GGG can get BJS in England.

Its not like what he's saying doesn't make sense or anything. And I WANT this fight to happen bad. Barclays/MSG would probably be the best place to stage it. Jacobs hometown so its a guaranteed sell out. And yes I know GGG sells out wherever he goes. They should do a 24/7. They give Canelo one for all his boring fights. And only gave a 15 minute show for Golovkin's PPV fight against Lemieux. While I would rather not have to pay for it (but am willing) this fight should be on PPV. Really how many PPV fights does Golovkin have? Golovkin-Jacobs and Canelo-Golovkin. I don't see any other PPV fights unless he moves up 2 division to fight Kovalev or Ward.

Jacobs would be lucky to get 25% realistically. He has no mass appeal whatosever,
It's not a PPV fight, he's not a PPV or P4P talent, he's not a draw. This is just a
way for his people to strategically avoid a fight and say "hey, we tried".

Makes a lot of business sense

It'll go to purse bid and end up on showtime
