nice to think that cotto started his boxing career in the same division as pacquiao...light flyweight..

but cotto was never a world class boxer in his youth unlike pacquiao

I read an interview couple of years back with Cotto says he went to the gym initally t follow his brother and to get in shape cos he was a fat kid around 155 lbs so how the **** did he fight at 100 lbs?

 

cotto was still a boy back then, but so is calderon

 

i have no ill feelings about cotto. I believe in his ability and i have him in the top 8 p4p even before the clottey fight.

i even mentioned that cotto would beat pacquiao at the beginning of the year.

When they fought in the amatuers Calderon was 18 years old and Cotto 12 or 13 years old so the age was a factor into why Calderon won the fight.:yep
