Calderon might be the best pure boxer to ever step into the ring. He is an atg and he had Malignaggi power and HE WAS SMALL FOR 105!!!!! The guy was a teacup human and he still schooled guys left and right. Anyone talking **** or hating on him dksab. And at 108 against a huge fighter with big power he still put on a foty in a losing effort. Calderon= little legend
:rofl Segura is def one of the biggest if not the biggest 108 pounders ever. Plus he could punch, great chin and never stopping coming forward throwing hard shots. Finto wouldve had his hands full and might even have lost to Segura imo.
Segura wouldnt carry Finito's jockstrap. Alvarez was much better than Segura and he only gave Finito fits when Finito was at the end of his career. Segura would get ko'd brutally by Finito or schooled for 12 rounds.
Calderon was a special talent that flew under the radar for too long while he was one of the sports best. One of the best natural boxers I've ever witnessed. What a pleasure to watch. Even when he was past it and getting beaten up by the way bigger Segura he refused to quit and despite knowing he couldn't crack an egg, when he knew he needed a KO to win, he was launching hooks from the floor and practically jumping into them to try and score a KD. Really showed he had the champion warrior heart in that first Segura fight. I loved that little guy.
If you're hating on Calderon you prob havent sparred a round in your life. The man had a talent way bigger than his body...a pure, precise boxing tactician.
he good very big people are saying ivan doesnt have a chance and will gt stopped i dissagree ivan will win a decision
Fuentes is a freak of nature, he's like 5"9 at 105 and is a typical Mexican ala Chavez/Margarito slow, plodding just tries to impose his size and strenght and wear you down in the later rounds If Ivan has so much as fumes left in the gas tank he should beat this guy
Calderon was nothing special. A spoiler/excessive mover in an incredibly **** weight division talent-wise. That said, I hope he wins tonight and goes out on a high note. Good fighter, but overhyped by those calling him one of the best boxers/technicians of all-time.
