Ivan Calderon; top 10 P4P?

i agree, i give him props for being at a major disadvantage always and still come of with the win. He's not that iron boy as he is as he can get KD. I was so impressed with his fight with cazares. It was close and could have gone to cazares because of the KDs but if you look at the physical disadvantage, its great that calderon outboxed such a tall guy

 

B level? he was recognized as the undisputed champion by Ring. If ANY fighter is A level from 105-8 besides Calderon, its Cazares. He was the first real champion under 108 since Lopez.

I might get some flack for saying this.

If Calderon wins against Cazares in the rematch & beats Ulises Solis, he is nearly top5 Pound4Pound IMO.

 

Why not? His talent is fkn easily one of the best in the world. You can't crucify a guy for being in a thin division, The guy just won his last fight 12 rounds to 0 on all THREE judges scorecards. IMO he isn't slipping and he deserves respect.

 

he'd be an ATG and a HOF for me if he does that. Cazares is a huge test, almost beat him last time. This time around cazares could be making the proper adjustments and calderon would recieve more props if he is to win.

 

Dont think that's overly controversial as he'd pretty much clear out the division!!
