Being from ireland i was unfortunatly unable to see the recent calderon-cazares fight live, and when i finally got to see the fight i already knew the result and the story of the fight,I was however very impressed with calderons ability to jump straight from 105 up to 108 and immediatly put in a great performance in beating a top champion in cazares, and considering this along with his record and unbelievable boxing skills would rate him number ten in my P4P list....

He should be rated and many posters here do, even if Ring and others do not.

Yes, lets only count his split decision. It's the only win he has ever had. Nevermind his 11 title defenses in the weight class below.

Definitley, but he's getting old fast for such a low weight. We'll see how that works out.

    sad but true...
he's already lost a step or two.
I really hate the fact that he has to fight cazares again. he might get starched this time.

Rematches for older fighters can be a thorn in the side, especially when they have only 2 years left maximum.

I'll pick Hugo this time, it was razor thin last time out. Early on though Calderon was brilliant.

damn man. anybody who does not have calderon at the top 10 p4p does not know **** abour the lighter weights. the dude cannot be touched at 105. he beat all the good fighter at 105 and at his first try at 108, he beat, arguably the best 108 fighter out there.

ivan deserves to be on the top 10. it sucks that the lighter fighters do not get the respect they deserve.
