    Round 5

Rapid movements from Calderon, leaping in semi-circles around Rivas and popping the jab. Rivas can't quite adapt to this type of mobility and seems flummoxed, nearly tripping over himself as he tries to square up and find Calderon with his own jab. Good right hook by Calderon backing away before ducking the punch Rivas had been loading up before the hook, and then he lurches in to hug. Rivas is tossing low jabs out and missing as Calderon shuffles back.

    10-9 Calderon

    49-46 Calderon

    This one started first. :conf

My only real priority tonight is Marquez-Concepcion II. Everything else is expendable/icing on the cake.

That's the only card I get. LA is as close to Mexico as you can get, but Time Warner doesn't carry Azteca (or at least I can't find it)

    Round 6

Calderon is comfortably playing matador, drawing Rivas nearly to the ropes and then snapping his head back with right jabs. The bounce is back! Calderon has found his legs. Rivas is made to look a fool while loping after him, missing with lunging power shots up high over the ducking midget's head and getting popped in the already swollen face with repeated southpaw jabs. Whenever Rivas gets close it becomes a hugging session. Calderon GRABS RIVAS' UNDERWEAR DURING A HUG!! RIVAS TRIES TO TURN HIS BACK AND WALK AWAY AND GIVES HIMSELF A WEDGIE WITH HIS SKIVVIES' ELASTIC STILL TWISTED UP AROUND CALDERON'S THUMB!!! RIVAS IS FURIOUS!!!! I'M LAUGHING MY BALLS OFF!!! THE POOR DAMN REFEREE IS CLOTHESLINE BETWEEN THE TWO OF THEM, WITH RIVAS' G-STRING PRESSING A CREASE IN THE THIGH OF HIS TROUSERS!

    10-9 Calderon

    59-55 Calderon

    Round 7

Calderon isn't moving or jabbing as much now, just pressing up against Rivas and wrestling with him. Calderon is warned for pushing in with his head. Rivas starts to land short left and right hooks to the skull while letting Calderon ram into him headfirst. Calderon is getting worked over, his plan to lean in and rest backfiring. Rivas is teeing off with hooks and uppers bouncing off Calderon's down-turned face. Calderon tries a left hand lead while coming up for air but it slides off Rivas' chest and he gets countered before tying up again.

10-9 Rivas, his best round by far.

    68-65 Calderon

Damn, Calderon is winning but he's pretty much done.

Can you imagine what would have happened if he actually fought Garcia tonight?!
