    Oddly enough, Trey Lippe Morrison who has no great amateur experience has fought better opponents.


    Joey Dewajko would make a decent opponent at this point IMO.

    Nah, Liakovich at this point in his career is reserved for USA fighters on the way up who lack a Eastern Euro guy on their resume.

    Dychko is a poor mans Vitali. He is ok but I don't see him going far. He has no punching power.

    Harris fight is on YouTube. Dychko gained about as much from it as we all thought he would.

    Agreed, plus he doesn't seem to have the stamina that Vitali had. He was gassing in amateur fights, the idea he can go 12 rounds at a decent pace seems unlikely to me.

    You can see how a lot of this EE heavyweight prospects are trying to emulate Vitali's style.

    I remember in 2015, when Pulev tickled Harris in the ribs with a grazing body shot - and Harris going down like he'd been shot. This was worse.

    If I were Galen Brown or Rubin Williams - I'd be expecting to get a call from Dychko's people any day now...

    Yep, I'm interested to see how that plays out because it was originally developed to deal with significantly shorter opponents, but the three best fighters in the division are all over 6'6", and so are a lot of the top prospects.

    If they really wanted to start stepping up Dychko - I would recommend any of the following US opponents:

    • Terrell Jamal Woods
    • Jo-el Caudle
    • Jon Bolden
    • Tyrell Wright
    • Ed Fountain
    Dychko should be able to beat all of them - but at least they're live bodies.

    Which in general is dumb, although in Dychko's case he is pretty much athletic enough to get away with it (so far, at the level he is facing in the pros to date - but I project it will still more or less work for him when he does step up, although he is the exception that proves the rule) - much like American kids aping Mayweather when they aren't 1% gifted enough to pull off his particular brand of slickness is extraordinarily dumb.

    Harris looked sloooow. I guess you could call him Slo-Moe Harris. Not a lot can be said about the fight except Dychko did what was expected.

    In the now over three years since I made this very thread and the aforementioned, much-lamented stay-busy affair with Sugar Moe Harris, then 42 years old, Dychko (whom my phone, hilariously, autocorrects to F-u-c-k-i-n-g ...yes, with a capital F) has fought just thrice:

    1. against even older washed up contender Ray "The Rainman" Austin, then 48, in 2019
    2. against 9-2 glass cannon and domestic level club fighter Nathanael Heaven, also in 2019
    3. against Denis "Darth Vader" Bakhtov, on an 0-8 slump since 2014, and currently 41...just last month, snapping a two full year layoff for the Kazakh.

    Not great! :shakehead:

    He is making decent money I guess sparring with Tyson Fury but ffs... guy's prime is just going up in smoke.
