One of the mostt stop start careers in recent memory. He fights next Wednesday on a Probox card against a guy called Craig Lewis
Sad to see a talented heavyweight have a his career ruined by poor management. It's been happening to a too many of European and central Asian boxers. It's probably too late for Dychko now, he's not getting any younger. Inactivity and meaningless opposition ruins a boxer.
At 34 years of age, I think it is too late for him. Unless he gets a title shot before he turns 35 which I don't see happening.
If these Eastern European and Central Asians are having a hard time getting fights, they should fight each other. Why are Dychko, Jalalov, Gassiev, Nistor, Sirenenko, etc, not in their own little tournament?
Fully agree on this. It's unfortunate that they have to take the risk, but it may be the only way to force themselves into contention. I think Nistor has dropped down to Cruiser tho.
