Just announced by Dana White on Instagram.

Dychko finally facing someone with a pulse in the pro ranks. Hopefully he stays active after this:

Wait… wasn’t itauma just calling out Franklin?? So if Dychko beats him, especially by knockout… then THAT FIGHT INSTEAD POSSIBLY??? :dunno:clap::clap:

Or maybe Itauma is going straight to Usyk.

God I hope it comes off and we can salvage a little of Dychko's career.

And Dana White made this happen? Props.

Maybe he can help us out with Gassiev and Jalalov next.

Usyk might drop a belt Itauma should take down Parker for the world title first. Usyk is a different level, i dont think Itauma is ready for that

It's a different game when Turki is choosing the fights and throwing money around.

Oh wow, I didn’t realise Adams held a TKO victory over Bohachuk. I have been quite disappointed with Bohachuk’s opponents after his excellent performance against Ortiz and victory in my eyes. If he avenges this, please give him what he deserves, at least a top 10 guy.

Back on topic, Dychko is not something I am familiar with but the reviews alone have me intrigued and it seems a significant step up. Since Franklin’s credible performances against the Brits he has gone a bit off radar and is right there as a very good B side opponent, Itauma makes a lot of sense but it looks like he may be knocked off here.

I can't believe this. I checked the calendar several times to make sure It's not April fool's day lol.

Anyway, as tough and cagey as Franklin is, he's not a big puncher so this is a favourable step up for Dychko. If his stamina holds up (which is a big if, considering the fact that he's been fighting 1 round per year since the Rio olympics) he should win a decision here.

Dychko should have fought someone like Franklin years ago, and Dychko is like 35 ATM and is taking the Zhang route.

Franklin is a little too good to be a journeyman and is a awkward fighter but he isn't anything special, it is still a big step up from the part-timers Dychko has faced and wasted in his career.

Dychko on points. If Dychko can genuinely dominate Franklin, it might be a good enough win that might prove he has something to offer still to the HW division.

Hopefully this will finally be Ivan's coming out party, and he can one up Whyte and Joshua by stopping Franklin. Which will finally get him the attention and matches he deserve, because he's 35 and time's a wasting. I mean, he's old enough to be Moses' father.
