Love to see it down the line, think Dychko could be something pretty special. But he needs to build a career first.
He’s just trying to get attention. I’m no AJ fan, but AJ would kill him. Wouldn’t be even slightly competitive.
I feel like myself and several others have pointed this out several dozen times on other threads by now. But so was almost everyone, Joyce got iced by Kuzmin, Joshua by Nistor(I also knocked him out in sparring), Wilder by Romanov, Ruiz Jr. by Hunter, the list goes on....of course Dychko’s single KO loss came at the hands of the hardest punching SHWs ever in his prime who was in the midst of ridiculous knockout streak at the top level, but you know, weak chin. He’s hopeless.
You know who he got knocked out by, right? Magomedrasul Mezhidov aka Majidov, the beast from Russia who represented Azerbaijan. The best super heavyweight of this era, who beat everyone including Joshua. Majidov was probably P4P the hardest puncher in the amateurs. Dychko faced the best super heavyweights numerous times each - most of whom are big punchers, and Majidov numerous times - and that has only happened ONCE!. You are clutching straws here to say he has a weak chin ,Tony Yoka got knocked out about 10 times, that's what you call a weak chin!
Dychko should stay active (almost 10 months without a fight now) and should step up the level of opposition before calling out the IBO, IBF, WBA and WBO champion ffs. He has fought NOBODY so far.
I think it's better that Dychko first has some pro fights which stretch him 10 rounds. Also, he has to be more active to build up his win numbers to market himself to semi-casuals who don't appreciate his amateur pedigree.
Great another fighter using Joshuas name.....and he hasn't even got off the starting line in his career..... is there anyone actually in the position to fight him not hiding under their bed or behind their couch ?
