Ivan Redkach: El Ucranio-The Mexican Ukrainian Lightweight El Terrible of Hollywood.

Ivan Redkach is a 5'9.5 28 year old Lightweight with a 18-1 14 KO's 1 KO loss. Born in Shostka, Ukraine fighting out of Los Angeles, California. This power punching aggressive Ukrainian Southpaw is promoted by Lou DiBella, managed by Al Haymon and trained by Robert Garcia, how's that for a list of people to be involved with. Of all of the Eastern European prospects I haven't jumped onto Redkach's bandwagon as willingly as I have others, and I still have my reservations however he did impress me quite a bit in his last showing. I think he needs to work on his defense, he gets hit far too much and believe he's too flawed to challenge others in the division at this point. The reason I've rethought my opinion on Redkach was because while he looked less than stellar against Tony Luis last year, since Luis recently dominated top prospect Karl Dargan, Redkach's somewhat average performance against Luis looks somewhat better in retrospect.
