Interesting. Going by their amateur careers you would think it wasn't an upset (Castillo represented the Dominican Republic at the Olympics, whereas Davis only ever had regional GG's success and didn't make an impact beyond US borders) - although Davis being a Haymon/TMT guy made it seem like Castillo had probably been scouted to be fed to him as record-padding opponent. :think

Some very close, sloppy shaves here with Redkach in pursuit. This kind of fight doesn't favor Cruz whatsoever. He is going to have lost three straight, five point deficit...and if he tries doing anything but survive here it could blow up in his face and get him KTFO.

Round 10: Cruz controlled the first two minutes, landing crispy (there ya go, Danny) counter right hands. But in the last minute, Redkach lands the right hook and has Cruz looking shaky as he follows up with some meaty left hands at the bell.

    10-9 Redkach.

Well, hell...this turned out to be really close. Wasn't expecting that at all.

Well technically Cruz is a US citizen being a Puerto Rican, but Redkach is more politically connected inboxing
