yeah hes been in top 5 and really top 3 but now hes #1! what he can still do at 38. man hes unmatched!! I was thinking Pernell was better then him and its very close but Mayweather has the edge. Whitaker based everything on reflexes, and he was damn good, but Floyd has the reflexes and the shoulder roll.

He already has the biggest +- in boxing history (according to compubox) I just dont see anybody better then him.

hes my p4p #1 best defensive fighter ever! If you dont think hes #1 then make your list. but if hes not even in your top 5 then dont post because YDKSAB!! :bbb:bbb

He probably has the greatest all around defense ever, there's no place in the ring he's easy to hit flush.

Maybe in his prime, but I'd still put him behind PW. Floyd was HURT 3X by an old, bloated, and semi-shot one, injured Pac for chrissakes.

I don't think i can put him over whitaker,

No one will ever touch whitaker

After the gatti fight I put Floyd as a number two in defense

He's not the fighter he was then

Floyd is obviously the much more rounded fighter
But strictly defensively speaking sweet pea stands alone for me

i can make a thousand list but a floyd fan girl like yourself wouldnt know who im talking about.

I got benitez, james toney, pernell, prime RJJ,srl on top of my mind all way above floyd.

Jeez, sweet pea wasn't the first great defensive fighter, guys. Willie Pep #1. The rest of these guys can round out the top 5, don't mind the order.

    Whitaker
    Floyd
    Benitez
    Locche

You're going to make a best defensive fighter list and include SRL and Toney but not Pep and Locche?

ok you made a list, thats a start!

Those are all good picks but i would have Mayweather first. Toney was solid, RJJ was good but had no hand defense just reflexes
