And why not? You can't go wrong with matches like (my all time fav) Miranda SheHulk Barber vs Skylar Goon Burns from March 12th of 2022! Wow! Bare knuckle went illegal when they introduced gloved boxing as a legitimate sport just a hundred plus years ago, but we can still see some of it in its purest form... What do you think of it? (By the way, Kody "Big Mo" Mommaerts is the identical twin of Max Headroom)
It’s hard not to like it, sure it’s not at a stage of being a genuine bare knuckle art but it sure is bloody and entertaining. I’m excited to see how it develops in the coming decades, because at the moment it’s basically modern boxing without the gloves on. The dudes are fighting like they got 10 oz gloves on lol
It's probably less cte inducing than gloves boxing strangely. With the hand protection from gloves, the fists become weapons as you can put your entire body into each punch.
Heck, I enjoy a good fair one in a flea market parking lot, why wouldn’t I enjoy this? I don’t watch for the sublime skills, I watch for the spectacle. Boxing I watch for both.
My other favourite fight was in my opinion "fight of the year"... the BKFC fight on November 2nd 2024 between AGI FAULKNER and DAVID OSCAR
I like Big Mo as an MC, though he overstretches every word like he's Michael Buffer saying "Let's get ready to rumble!"
Bareknuckle is insane entertainment, complete savages. welcome change from boxing and mma lately. 90% of fights last 30 seconds it seems lol.
