I don't know what it is, I exercise 3 times a day. I eat in small margins. I stopped drinking soda. So why is it that my scale says I've gained 8 pounds in the past week? o_O

I no longer trust scales. I thought I made weight last week (140) but it turned out I was about 2 pounds off. It's gone now though so I won't have to kill myself making weight Saturday.

try to make your weigh in routine at the same time everyday. I go for the morning option....before ive had breakfast and after ive been to the toilet. That way I know im not full of excess fluids etc. Also is good to see what your weight is before and after you go for your morning run. What you eat and drink during the day can affect the scales radically from one day to the next.

But I've been doing lower weights more reps, it shouldn't make me gain that much muscle
