I've been saying this all along: Hopkins will KILL Dawson!

    Listen, Hopkins is going to ass **** Chad Dawson and it won't even be close.

    Ok, yes, Chad does has size and some skill, but he is NOWHERE near Hopkins' level as far as talent or skill, even at this advanced age.

    Now Steward has left him, and he has to get used to a new trainer. Hopkins is just a much better fighter anyway, but this is going to kill Dawson in his prep for the fight.

    I predict Hopkins will actually stop Dawson in a grueling, gruesome fight, in which Dawson will be completely undressed mentally and stylistically. :deal

    I agree.

    But I find it very interesting that Floyd Sr., years back, said Hopkins would destroy Dawson, because Dawson for all his talent, is a little *****.:deal

    Man, this fight is a farce at this point. BHOP would beat him 10 times out of 10, and I am actually a Dawson fan.

    This will be one of those fights that will look like a complete mismatch. Now we will see why BHOP avoided this fight. It's because he knew all along that Dawson would be his *****.

    This is going to be so ****ing sad. :-(

    The only concern for B-Hop was Manny Steward, but with him out of the picture... Dawson is dead meat!!

    How will Hopkins KO Dawson when Dawson is faster (much faster), stronger, and bigger? Dawson took the best shots from Glen Johnson and Jean Pascal and was never knocked down. Granted Dawson hasn't looked all that good in his last couple fights so the criticism against him is well deserved.

    I see this fight as 50/50, it's either Hopkins by decision or Dawson wins by decision or by KO. That's right Dawson has a good chance of stopping Hopkins because he has very fast hands.

    I think that Hopkins is the naturally bigger man (weight). So think Hopkins has the advantage there.
    Its a fight I struggle to call. Dawson was lucky not to be beaten by glorified journeyman G Johnson in their first fight and didnt do enough when bullied by Pascal.

    The reason I struggle to call this fight so much is it seems Hopkins has a style weakness to fast 2 handed fighters his own size (Jones, Taylor, Calzaghe, Pascal) and Dawson fits that mould.
    If Hopkins wins clearly then I hold my hands up.

    For some reason I wouldnt be shocked if this fight doesnt happen or gets postponed

    He's working with Scully who's been training Dawson since he was 12. Scully is just as good as a trainer as Floyd. It was Scully that helped Dawson develop the boxer he is today not Floyd Sr.
