I heard Dawson walks around 190lbs, no way Hopkins is bigger than Dawson, let alone stronger.

Im a Dawson fan, but he has NO chance of stopping BHOP, NONE!!!

First of all, he looked dreadful in his last 2 fights, and Hopkins, with the way Dawson looked, would molest him, and there is really no debate about that.

All that speed and power (largely absent in his last 5 fights) dont mean **** when you have a guy who is standing in front of you and you still cant hit him.

Im saying this right ****ing now, Dawson needs to withdraw from this fight. I Knew he would lose with Steward, but ANOTHER ****ing trainer change? It's clear he is missing something, and BHOP knows what to do.

He's going to get annihilated, and I don't want people to say Bernard cherrypicked him. This is going to be pure sexual assault, and everyone on here will complain that BHOP cherrypicked when this is done.

Dawson is a dead man walking!!!:deal

Hopkins looks after himself, but lets not forget Hopkins turned pro weighing as a CW. Dawson turned pro weighing as a very light SMW.
It took Hopkins a while before he got his body to successfully stay at MW for a long period and alot of discipline

Hopkins isn't a speed demon, he usually pot shots and looks for openings to counter. The problem is how will Hopkins counter when Dawson throws 5-6 punches in blazing speed? You think Dawson just throws punches hoping to land? Dawson is economical with his punches, very sharp, and accurate. Dawson knows what he needs to do win whether it's against a boxer or a brawler.

I think this is 50/50. If Dawson fights at his absolute best, there is nothing really Hopkins can do about it. Dawson is much more skilled compared to the likes of Pascal, Jones, and Pavlik. But if Dawson starts having mental lapses again, he will lose.

There is a reason Hopkins avoided Dawson like the plague, I have difficulty understanding how some figure Hopkins makes easy work of Dawson. Dawson has a solid resume and his only loss was a technical decision, in which it appeared he could have stopped Pascal. I have nothing but respect for Hopkins but it seems some have forgotten how good Dawson is.

Lol, dude he's beaten some damn good fighters and had a legit pound for pound/title run...he has accomplished a lot already and has one loss? Don't get where you're coming from here.

    Hopkins turned pro at LHW.

I dont think size will be a big factor in this fight anyway, the real factor is length and how Dawson will be able to box using his height and reach advantage. I dont give Dawson much of a chance because Hopkins will want to make the fight grueling and perhaps dirty on the inside. Dawson is a fragile soul and he will fold under pressure.

Dawson may have handspeed but he's no Calzaghe when it comes to connecting his punches and dealing with adversity

He looked like crap in his last 2 fights, and has severe mental lapses in the ring.

He has not progressed at all since the Adamek fight. Constantly changing trainers and flaws in his mental makeup have resulted in him not living up to his talent potential.

If he goes into the Hopkins fight as he did against Pascal and Diacanu he will be decimated. He is too easy to hit with right hands and cant fight on the inside.
