I've been saying this all along: Hopkins will KILL Dawson!

Outside of Pavlik, I don't remember Hopkins decimating anyone for a long time. Either way I am extremely confident that Dawson beats Hopkins, it will be semi close, but Dawson is too long, too fast, experienced, and this "mental" midget **** is ******ed, he's gotten off the canvas and won, he hasn't "folded up" anytime before, he'll win 7-5 decision.

 

Im predicting a Hopkins UD, Dawson gonna be eating right hands all night long

 

Dawson is niether Pavlik or Pascal ..Boxers give Hopkins problems not plodders ..Chad is no plodder ..I don't know what to call Pascal but he gave Hops problems in their first fight and he's half the boxer Dawon is ..

 

Hopkins may win,but he definately isnt stopping anyone

 

Can't believe the turn around in opinion since Dawson lost to Pascal and Hopkins beat Pascal. Fact is Pascal got lucky against Dawson and Hopkins got lucky to face a champion in Pascal who had a work rate even worse than his which is Hopkins biggest weakness at his now advanced age. Before this all happened Hopkins was accused of ducking Dawson and with good reason he has every attribute that would give Hopkins problems, size, faster hands, mobility and agility and superior work rate.

Just because Hopkins beat Pascal a fighter who quite frankly was perfect for Hopkins at this point in time he can now somehow easily beat Dawson who is all wrong for him. This will not be an easy fight for Hopkins he will have the toughest fight on his hands since he fought Calzaghe.

As a big Hopkins fan I hope he can pull it off and prove me wrong and defeat the younger, faster, busier Dawson but this fight could go either way. Dawson at his best when focused and active will win it's only his inconsistency and Hopkins tendency to pull off upsets that put's doubt in my mind in terms of the outcome.

 

Dawson had a slow start against Pascal, but came on late, and never was in any serious trouble (unlike Bernard Hopkins, who got dropped or staggered both times he fought Pascal). He kicked the **** out of Pascal in the last few rounds of their fight. Pascal was gassed, retreating, and wobbled by a counter left uppercut prior to the stoppage. Had it not been for the premature ending, Pascal likely would have been stopped, or at least dropped.

Dawson also dominated Diaconu and beat him wide on points without ever being seriously rattled, something not even Pascal accomplish.

Neither was a "great" performance from Chad. But he still didn't look as "crap" as Pascal did when he fought Silivio Branco or as ordinary as Hopkins did fighting Enrique Ornelas.

 

Dawson even is saying that he's going to fight laid back and pot shot Hopkins... Man, Chad is going to take punishment to the body, south of the border, kidneys, back of the head, chest and neck, headbutts, basically... Chad is not going to be the same fighter or boxer ever again, I also tell you.

 

You're all full of ****...Dawson will whip Hopkins...knock his ass out of the lightheavy picture..He'll whip Hopkins far worse than Taylor or Calzaghe did...far more decisively..maybe as bad as Ezzard Charles beat Joe Louis...(any of you familiar with these last two names?)

 

Dawson is going to pop the bubble of all you Hopkins fans.

 

Hopkins will add another solid name to his resume.
