I don't think the trainer really matters at this point. What matters is what's inside Dawson's head when he enters the ring. If he fights motivated, he should win. I don't buy all this, "Hopkins will kill Dawson" talk just because Steward left. There is a reason why Hopkins avoided Dawson for 2 years. He knows Dawson poses problems style wise.

Xcutioner all day! But Dawson to me reminds me too much of Taylor in many ways. Athletically gifted, but just don't got the light bulb on top of their head to adapt to a fight. They can both box and they can fight, but they want fighters to adapt to them not the other way around. When they in trouble, they dont have a plan b and lose focus. Taylor got very lucky to beat Bhops twice because he knows well he didnt win both. I expect a good fight Dawsons talent vs Hopkins adaptibility and Hopkins doing alot of infighting and counterpunching neutralizing Dawsons reach. It may be another dirty Hopkins foul filled fight, but another Bhops schooling vs a different style in the books for future generations to see. His best might be yet to come and I aint laughing if he really wants to go after a Klitschko.

Dawson had Pascal on ***** street late in the fight. Had Dawson been allowed to finish, he would've probably stopped him. That's how much more physically stronger he was over Pascal that when he decided to go after the KO, it was materializing.

hopkins has never had very fast hands but he is technicallly sound, he fought rj while jones was in his prime and didn't get ko'd so i don't see dawson doing it. one or the other may get a ud, but any ko'ing going on will be by bhop.

Look Brighton Bummer, read all of the quotes before you comment on the sentences. I get tired of having to correct you so often.
I have never declared Hopkins as a CW, just was talking about how heavy he and Dawson both were when they turned pro.
Theres no based on your logic conversation here dummy.
So please read all of the quotes leading up to where you decide to comment so I dont have to go over old pointless ground with you

    EDIT -
I dont know why you brought up Calzaghe, but as you did, I thought I would correct you here also.
You note Calzaghe fought at LHW 12 times and that 10 of those times were before he was a SMW champ. You also try and insinuate he had a weight advantage over all those fighters.
Well wrong again. Calzaghes last 2 LHW fights were against previously established LHWs and in the 10 LHW fights before he was a SMW champ, In 7 of those fights his opponents also weighed in at LHW or above, some opponents even at CW. In 2 of the other times he weighed in at LHW he only had a 1 and 2 pound weight diffence, so lets not bend the truths bummer to suit. I love how you twist the context of the facts to suit your own perspective. But can always correct them for you.

Moral of the quote for you Bummer is read the previous comments before you put your fingers to the keyboard

The last ko Hopkins had was 7 years ago against a blown up lightweight so I don't think his power will bother Dawson, however everything else in his arsenal might. Hopkins too clever but hey Dawson has a chance o the back of the fact that no one can keep going for ever.
