truth is I think they're made for eachother, but froch has the advantage in that he can fight for 12 rounds without any sign of slowing down,

I totally agree. I've got Abraham by late stoppage as well. I think Abraham will finally be the one to crack that jaw. Should be an excellent fight though. Can't wait.

Froch can't fight for 12 rounds without slowing down anymore, AA was actually coming on strong in the latter rounds in last fight.

    LOL

Abraham always comes on strong in the second half of the fight.

This is usually because he does sweet FA in the first half of the fight!!!

Abraham late stoppage through accumulation...In a close back and forth shootout with his defence making the difference.

That's pretty much how I see the fight going. But I could see Froch using his underrated boxing skills to frustrate Abraham - who isn't exactly a high output fighter. It could be another close decision though.

i think AA is made for froch,
AA is a one dimensional fighter,a slow one dimensional fighter at that.
i think froch will out jab and out right hook the ****er all night long ,and stop him

I'm possibly the only person on ESB that thinks this one goes the distance, but I think it will. 116-112 Froch in a very good fight with AA coming on strong late, but unable to stop him. Froch will work the body enough early to slow AA enough down late if that makes sense.

I've been thinking about this one a lot myself. Leaning towards Abraham KO, I know Froch has a sturdy chin but if Abraham lands one of his big shots I can't see him sticking around.

Abraham will push the fight. Frochs most lethal work is when he can box in the ring centre successfully. He can pump his jab, land right hands and that counter right uppercut is brutal. Throw in some body shots, being naturally bigger and maybe more powerful then we've got an interesting fight.

Abrahams is strong, powerful and always sneaky/dangerous.

    Its a great 50-50 fight.

PS - I think Dirrell was dropped in the 10th, was on his way to being beaten up in the 11th and 12th. I could see a stoppage. Abrahams was unlucky Dirrell put on an act.

would i be naive in saying that Abraham's power hasnt really been tested at SMW? i know he KO'd taylor, but we know taylors situation. and he knocked down Dirrell, but he too has been knocked down before. (fair play, he acually caught dirrell which froch couldnt, but dirrell was far more adventurous in the Abraham fight)

Before he was in this tourney he was beating up on middleweights?

am i just telling myself this to give myself more confidence? lol.

    There's banging, and there's banging.

IMHO AA is up there with the hardest P4P punchers. He's got that sickening power that puts peoples lights out. Froch is feather fisted by comparison.

Carl won't see the end of this one. At some point he'll do his usual leap in, chin out and AA will land and put him to sleep.

And I say this as a Froch fan.

Yep, Froch has decent power but also throws a lot of arm punches too. A fair few people say AA's power is unproven at super-middleweight but I think he'll put all doubts to rest soon enough. The shot that knocked out Taylor, I don't know how many super-middleweights wouldn't be hurt by that shot. Sickening is the way to describe AA's punches.
