I like Hatton as a fighter, I really do, more so than Pac. But after thinking about it...I just don't think Hatton is going to be able to handle the combination punching of Pacquiao. I also think that Mayweather Sr. really isn't the trainer for Hatton...when he's working the pads, he STILL doesn't have his hands in position. I think Pac will take advantage of this.

To beat Pac, you need to be able to counterpunch, and Hatton can't do that so well.

I hope it is a great fight, however, but the logic in my head says Fanny Pac will win this by TKO, I'll say around the 10th round, probably on a cut caused by a punch. :good

I'd say you were in for a very rude awakening.

    why the change?

From my experiences from changing pics, its all about the next day weigh in. Some people look like absolute sh*t. Take for instance Erik morales and ODLH when they fought Manny, they didn't look good at all.

just for money's sake, I put a 20 on Hatton by KO. Hatton by KO at 16/5.

I don't really want to base it on the weigh in...I don't care how the guys really look. However, the more I think about it, the more I think Hatton's advantages in size and power may mean less and less. He's going to need to rely on his right hand against a southpaw, and Hatton's right hand leaves something to be desired.

You won't have to watch this fight. You can watch ANY Hatton fight. But to go along with that, David Diaz and Oscar De La Corpesa were made to look like reasonably proficient counter punchers against Manny Pacquiao, circumstances and all.

    Welcome to Earth.

It may not mean anything but that arena is going to be all Ricky Hatton fans. I'd give homefield advantage to Hatton. Don't know if that will be a psychological advantage or not.

I can't believe that all this talk about Mayweather doing the padwork orthodox is true. I'm sure they just do that flashy stuff for the cameras. After all Hatton is no dummy. He's not going to do a load of **** for 12 weeks and not say anything, he should know how to get ready for a fight by now for ****s sake.

I think he's going to bore into Mannys chest and work on the inside. Smart tactics as he is by far the bigger man, and Manny is suspect around the ribs. Speed can't help you in there Manny.

NO. I almost changed my pick based on the weigh in. The size difference seemed minimal.

Yea hatton looked very weak to me, but at the same time other fighters have looked weak at the weigh in and had great wins, in morales' first fight with pac he looked relaly drained at the weigh in but kicked pacs ass so go figure.

At 140, Hatton looks small. When he rehydrates, it means stuffing water and carbo on his body to make 150. Compared to Pac at 138 which is pure muscles, he actually looked bigger than Hatton at weigh in. He needed only about 7 pounds to maintain his speed and power. As I've said before, Pac will come up stronger, Hatton will be weaker after rehydration.
