I've come to the conclusion that Roberto Duran would knock out Monzon

It does mean something if there's very good opposition to be fought in other weight classes. A great fighter seeks the best challenges as Duran did. Who wouldn't have wanted to see Monzon take on, for example, a Bob Foster instead of a Jean Claude Bouttier? He fought in a solid division but he wasn't exactly facing a prime Sugar Ray Leonard, Marvin Hagler or Thomas Hearns in there.

:good You gain points for that. Winona is epic on all fronts.

...Still, I find it amusing that we need to bring Leonard into the conversation. All Duran's die hard fans seem to have a Ray Leonard complex, fairly amusing. I'm neither, and if you followed my post history you'd know that Leonard nor Floyd are among my favorite fighters. People don't hate Duran, they just grow tired of his apologists...not only because they seem to be more relentless than others, but because half of the apologists are good, knowledgeable posters. It's a damn shame. Fighters take losses, period, so leave it at that.

Yeah I am a Leonard fan but not a Mayweather fan. If Mayweather beats Mosley and somehow the Manny fight happens and he wins he will get some credit by me.

Hill is not in the same league as Hearns or Hagler who Duran fought in their prime. I said fighers as good as Hagler or Hearns. I have yet to see the list. The rest is the same old stuff.

I think that SSM will "get old over night" and Floyd will win by UD, but I can see Manny winning a split dec' over Floyd, by shear workload.

Both are is a great fighters.

Think so? I think so also about Shane losing and Floyd winning a UD. Shane did well with his faster hands with Margarito, but Floyd will be quicker and will be able to counterpunch and keep Mosley from landing anything significant. With Manny I think Floyd will win believe it or not, but it will be tougher than with Mosley. They will be interesting fights. I am not sure Manny will fight after Clottey, but you never know. Think he will?

I hope they do, very big shame if the two do not get into the ring together.

You are right there is a big difference between beating Margorito and Mayoga to fighting Floyd.

I've started to ponder whether I should give Roy Jones a free pass based on his supernatural ability considering I place resume in such high regard.
