Ward has a lot of heart and Kovalev not so much.

What are you talking about? Wlad smashed Byrd 2x with little difficulty.

I don't think Byrd won a single 30 second stretch against Wlad in either contest.

He knows what he does, can't deny it. He is hard to hit. I still don't like him, probably never will, but can't take it away from him that he knows his boxing well. It's just boring and ugly to watch him, he fights dirty as well, I don't get the appeal of being his fan if we only talk about boxing.

I am still looking to what he will do in future, curious if he really steps up. If he can beat glass jawed Heavyweights like Szpilka, he can become one of the greatest boxers who ever lived. I do not expect from him to win against the elite at HW, this is way too much for everyone from the lower weight divisions. He has nothing to proof at SMW or LHW anymore. As a GGG fan, I still believe he would win but the fight will never happen anyway so it's only speculation.

Boxing has some intresting fights in future for sure.

That right-hand upstairs was the biggest shot in both fights, yes bigger than the knock down in the first fight

First post was excellent I agree. I dont know if Kov's stamina is the issue as he has never seemed to have stamina issues before Ward. In the last round or 2 he just looked like he could care less, being a baby. You gotta suck it up and fight back and stop looking at the ref all the time. Weeks was biased as hell but sometimes you cant do anything about it and just gotta focus on going for the KO and closing the show and leaving it in your own hands.

Which part don't you agree with? This is all on video and I have it before me. I've watched the 8th round several times. Kovalev was in horrendous shape, being battered all over the ring, before the final sequence of blows and the stoppage.

I direct you the the fight footage it's all very plain.
