That was a boxing masterclass from BJS.

    He made Lemieux look average.

Excellent performance from BJS, stayed up to watch that fight and it was well worth it. For my money that is a career best performance for BJS. He is starting to build a nice little resume, Andy Lee, Eubank Jr,Lemeiux and several good british/euro level guys.

Absolutely. Last night BJS looked like s p4p top 10 fighter, fight was reminiscent of Calzaghe Lacy. Based on that he would have a very good chance v anyone in division and I actually think he could be the best now. Unbelievable performance, I gave him every round.

Best decision BJS ever made. For one Ingle has him being more dedicated in and outside of the gym. Technically ingle is a good coach also.

Well done mate. I bet a lot smaller due to not knowing whether he will get screwed over in Canada, won £20.

Totally agree mate. I thought the scoring from two of the judges was baffling. I couldn’t make a case for Lemieux winning a single round, it was a complete shut out.

I just can't get my head round anyone who seriously thought David Lemeiux was going to knock Billy Joe out....

Yeah I don’t usually bet as much (94 pounds) but I had the money burning a hole in my bet 365 account haha, plus I had a lot of faith billy would get it done I was more worried that Billy would win by stoppage seeing as I bet he would win on points while watching that fight than anything David had.

Well after 2 poor performances it sounds like Billy really showed his class last night.

I thought dl would land something big at somepoint and stop him but by the sounds of it this performance really puts him on the world stage (or it should do) he needs to get on some of the big American cards as chief support now he should be in line for some big fights.

Eubank, Lee, lemuix are excellent wins..and his style is gunna make him awkward for anyone

Billy was always going to win. But make no mistake about it. That was one of the best performances of the year.

Lemieux is a basic fighter. It's not his skill level that made me say that. It was a lack of trust in BJS to execute. I think this line of reasoning was fair, in relation to his past performances, including last time out against Monroe.

It was completely incorrect though, granted. Tyson fury said it at ringside, it was the best he's ever seen BJS box. So definitely a career best performance. Kudos to those who saw it coming, I rate your judgement. I thought BJS may tire late and Lemieux would press him and get rough with him, a la Eubank. Ironically, the only one tired was Lemieux and if anyone was going to press for the late stoppage it was Billy. He is a different animal under Ingle, that much is clear.

I think Jacobs Saunders is a hell of a styles match-up. I just don't know if there's enough money in that fight, considering the risk. I think BJS will be confident against anyone right now, but he's understandably going to want to get that money from a unification bout. He's going to be a very rich man now - and fish eyes will buzzing as well!
